Newquay & Par AC is one of the premier athletic clubs in the south west with over 180 members
Formed by an amalgamation of two existing clubs – Par AC and Newquay AC in 1984, the club boasts an impressive history of athletic success including representations for over 20 international vests, including three athletes competing in the world junior cross country championships. The club has two active bases at Par Track and Newquay.
Today, Newquay & Par serves east, mid and north cornwall with year round training in track & field athletics, cross-country & junior sportshall. We have a bi-lateral agreement with Newquay Road Runners for anyone wanting to compete in this area of the sport.
Our members range from 8 to 60 years old with an equally diverse distribution in talent. Some members just enjoy keeping fit, some are more competitive, training hard to improve their personal bests whilst others are competing at the forefront of the international arena.
